It is not only almost the end of term, it’s almost the end of 2023! Classes finish next week, with the women’s class, on Thursday 21st December, and start again on Monday morning 8th January - bright and early, with on-line meditation.
Thank you to everyone who has come to a class, shared the heart-breaking and heart-warming events of your life, read these posts, written me a nice message, smiled or stopped for a chat in the street - I am grateful to you all, and I hope that together we help to make the world a slightly better place.
This year I made a Christmas wreath with a couple of friends. They are both makers. One is a fabulous gardener, jeweller and potter, and the other a skilled textile artist and seamstress. I joked that I might need help with my wreath. I have an idea of myself as not very good with my hands, and I get a bit anxious around the excellent craftspeople of Stroud who often seem to be very good indeed with theirs. But I was pleasantly surprised at how it turned out. Here it is:
Anyway, a short post this week, to wish you well as 2023 comes to an end and 2024 begins. However you mark this time of year, I hope you have some time to slow down and rest, to celebrate the return of the light, and then rest some more - and that our paths will cross again next year.
If you’ve had a break from yoga practice and would like to start again in January, just drop me a line!
What a beautiful wreath Frankie, bursting with winter energy! Xx
Stunning wreath Frankie. Hope it helps you realise you are wrong about your hands....! Clare
